Before answering the question of whether or not you should purchase an ethanol vehicle, you should check and see if you already have one. There are certain producers of flexible fuel vehicles or FFVs that can run on ethanol fuel and they are as follows: Chrysler, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, GM, Isuzu, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz and Toyota. If your vehicle is not made by one of these companies it is not compatible with ethanol fuel. The Renewable Fuels Association, better known by the acronym RFA, organizes the Ethanol Conference every year to highlight this plant based fuel source and bring together professionals in the industry. In the year 2009, the conference will be held between February 23 and February 25 in San Antonio, Texas.
